Our Program
At Happy Kids NY, we embrace Maria Montessori’s philosophy that children learn best as individuals through natural curiosity and discovery. Our program is designed to make learning a joyful experience by providing an organized, thoughtfully prepared environment enriched with engaging activities. We guide children through a balanced curriculum that supports their cognitive, emotional, and social development—helping them grow into confident, independent learners.

Indoor Environment

Welcome to our spacious 2,000 sqft indoor area, designed with your children's comfort and enjoyment in mind. With ample room, our children have the perfect space to learn, play, and explore freely. Thoughtfully organized and fully equipped to support exploration and learning across a variety of subjects, including Science, Math, History, Geography, Language, Practical Life, and Sensorial development. Each learning area is carefully prepared to invite curiosity, independence, and hands-on discovery. Children are guided and supported by our dedicated Directors and their trained assistants, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for every child.

Outdoor Environment
Our curriculum extends beyond the classroom to support the whole child’s development. With Central Park as our backyard, children have daily opportunities to engage in outdoor activities that nurture their physical, sensory, and perceptual growth. These experiences are essential for both academic readiness and social development. Outdoor activities include nature walks, exercise, gardening, and watering—helping children build a deeper connection with their environment while developing important life skills.
Music
Music is an integral part of the Montessori approach, supporting both cognitive development and creative expression. At Happy Kids NY, children enjoy daily music time with Miss Juana, who plays la guitarra and leads the class in joyful music-making. Each child selects their own instrument, encouraging active participation and personal exploration. Through music, children are introduced to the arts, rhythm, coordination, and the joy of creative collaboration.

Daily Schedule
Our program follows a consistent daily schedule designed to provide structure, comfort, and a sense of routine for young children. Each day includes a balanced mix of guided learning, creative play, outdoor time, and rest. Activities are thoughtfully planned around seasonal themes and the evolving interests of the children, ensuring they remain engaged and inspired throughout the year.
